Dining Capital of North West London - Hatch End
Hatch End is a Hotspot for dining. |The restaurants have spilt or rather built over the wide pavement of The Broadway and they have become ever more successful. Here are your choices in alphabetical order, with pictures of some of their Christmas trees and seasonal lights.
B & K Salt Beef Restaurant & Bar
The menu includes large and varied mixed hors d'ouvres. Chicken soup with dumplings or meat filled pasta pockets or both.
Main courses include traditional salt beef on plain bread, toasted, or rye bread sandwiches.
For desserts, in addition to cheese cakes and yummy chocolate cake, their specialities. Apple strudel. Lokshen (noodle) pudding.
We either eat in or take away.
At home, we eat leftover apple strudel with full cream milk.
Their smaller take away plus simple restaurant in Edgware was our regular until we moved, and they expanded. Now their Hatch End branch had became our family favourite for filling food.
Coriander
Indian - might be closed. Never mind. They have a cafe in Stanmore. And Hatch End has others.
Casa Mia
Italian.
Chypsy
Do Jo
Big and bustling. With a garden at the back in summer with statues and water features to attract the eye.
Dona Theresa
Another Italian.

Remarkable decor with Indian quotations in Hindi and other languages. A family restaurant.

Pizzeria.
Moon & Sixpence
Wetherspoons Pub
Different themes on different nights of the week. English favourites like baked potatoes. And lots of choice of wines by the glass. A useful place to know about if you are on a budget, or want a cheaper drink before ordering food at a restaurant nearby.
