Civil Service Club Restaurants & Rooms

Image
Has a reasonably priced Zanfandel.  The restaurant upstairs, which has waiter service, is often booked for group events especially before Christmas.  The bar restaurant downstairs is pub style. You order at the bar. Indoor or outdoor seating. If you books one of the themed rooms upstairs for a group, you could order a cheese platter from downstairs at the bar. It comes with grapes. Eat it by yourself or share between two or pass along a table to the whole group. The reception and restaurant have pictures of members of the royal family. A lovely flower display at reception when you arrive and sign in. Bedrooms upstairs where you can stay the night. Book bed and breakfast, or, if you feeling lazy, bed and lunch. Two wine clubs meet here. The one I know is the Central London Wine Society. You can hire a room where you can show your speakers slides of vineyards on a screen if you ask in advance for the club to set it up for you. Useful Websites https://www.civilserviceclub.o...
